Description

Geisinger Medical Center's General Surgery Residency program located in Danville, PA has an opening for a Preliminary PGY-2 position to begin July 1, 2026. To be eligible, applicants must be a current resident in good standing in an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program. Applications will be submitted by email and only completed applications will be reviewed. All application materials must be consolidated into one PDF file. LORs will be accepted separately. Requirements

How to Apply: Current CV, Medical School Transcript/Dean’s letter & Diploma, USMLE Scores 1, 2 & 3 (all Steps must be passed), ABSITE score, 3 letters of recommendation including one from the current Program Director, Summative Competency-Based Evaluations, ACGME Milestone Evaluations, Current Defined Category Case Log Report, list of completed rotations for all years of training & copy of ECFMG (if applicable). We do NOT sponsor H-1 visas.
