PGY-2 Preliminary General Surgery Vacancy — ARMC/KP Fontana General Surgery Residency (Colton, CA.)
The ARMC/Kaiser Fontana General Surgery Residency Program is accepting applications for a PGY-2 Preliminary General Surgery position beginning July 1, 2025.
About the Program
- County-owned hospital/high-volume Level I Trauma Center with approximately 50/50 specialty experience at Kaiser in Fontana and Ontario, CA.
- Broad operative exposure with strong autonomy and hands-on experience
- Collaborative culture with support from senior residents and faculty
- Structured didactics, simulation curriculum, ABSITE preparation, and academic development
- Robust exposure across general, trauma, acute care, minimally invasive, and subspecialty rotations
Requirements
Requirements
- the qualified candidate must have successfully completed one year of surgical residency from an ACGME accredited program by June 22, 2026. Training must have occurred at no more than two programs.
- this program does not sponsor visas for this position. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- be eligible to obtain a California medical license
- be in good standing at current program (no remediation/probation)
