Description
The Stanley M. Levenson, MD Burn Center of Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine invites applications for its burn fellowship training program commencing July 1, 2026.
Jacobi Medical Center is the burn referral center for New York City Health and Hospitals. Clinical responsibilities include managing burn ICU patients, assisting in the O.R., staffing burn, plastics, and hand clinics, covering the emergency department, and teaching residents and medical students. Research is encouraged. As the burn service functions under the auspices of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, our fellows are afforded experience with wound closure techniques, synthetic substitute application, and essential hand surgery. The program is ideally suited for clinical post graduate trainees preparing for careers in general or plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Requirements
Completion of no less than PGY 1 and PGY 2 in an ACGME approved general surgery program is a minimal prerequisite for consideration. Board eligibility in general surgery is highly desirable.
Applicants currently holding H1-B visas are eligible for continued sponsorship. Regrettably, no other visa sponsorship is available.
For consideration please forward letter of inquiry and CV to:
